Kettle knows when you've worked too hard and when your productivity is getting low. So it turns itself on. Because you work better after a good cup of tea.

The Kettle experiment tracks the web browsers you are navigating, and when it sees many of the flagged " FB, Youtube, etc.." it sets the lever of the kettle off. Kettle then signals that the water has boiled so you can enjoy a cup of tea.

This project was done with an Arduino, an Xbee, a battery pack and a switch. The kettle becomes a part of the internet of things,, another household item looking after you.

Iconic history is a Chrome extension that visualizes your browser history as a favicon stack. It creates a favicon for each url visited, and compiles all icons into a huge sequence based on access time.
